I got an email fund-raising letter signed by whoever the chair of the DNC is a couple hours ago praising SenateDems who voted against the deal.
A bit mealy-mouthed, but not support for the cave, either.

Burning tear gas grenades have been clocked at nearly 800 deg C (1450 F), which is way hotter than most gloves, mitts, etc will ever bear. So don't pick them up.
