Interesting mix of systems that depart from the original Osa. Assuming the RADAR is still used, - RADAR is probably always in search mode -no need to illuminate the target for the missile. I wonder how the IR sensor information is provided to the operators? Start with radar and listen for tone?

5/ It was imposed due to Russian soldiers causing drunken accidents, but seems to be having an impact far out of proportion to any positive effects it might have in reducing accident rates. /end

1/ Russian military transportation in Ukraine is reported to have ground to a halt, due to an initiative to confiscate privately-owned vehicles after a spate of drunken accidents. As many as 96% of light vehicles used by soldiers are said to be personally owned or donated. ⬇️
