Life is what you do between birth and death...make it worth remembering. From a single breath to wizened old age all you do will be remembered by someone. Let it be a fond memory. Im a J1c4c Haplotype looking for more.
Ok then I got an odd one. I have dna verified a whole line of 1 common ancestor trying to help locate a birth parent. Yet this male doesnt match to all the sons..and ive verified theyre all brothers. What is up?

As much as being told to crawl back where I came from hurt..Im now helping another family member sort his past. Im down to two brothers. Both had relationships with his current surname we just dont see a connection yet.

Lately. My file is on Ancestry with my daughters dna linked to my account as I had to use another company to get mine done. I am praying to solve this he is the last of his line and the only other direct male who did match him has died. We are grasping for straws.

The baby died days later. I have a gentleman who by dna should be a Collins but was changed to Wilson 4 generations earlier. Harriet first husband was a Wilson. But the baby im looking at was born in Nov of 1832 far enough into the marriage to be her 2nd husbands child. I need anyone who could look

Knows anything about. Its so heartbreaking seeing a hint that could break my wall behind a blur. And now you limit dna matches to 3 people, doesnt help when its your daughter and aunt and cousin to match to that unknown person. Where I live we have no libraries. So I cant go sit and access free.

Attach to all parties as I hit save before I clicked on folks. And many census records and Find A Grave and BURLS are free but you block those too. I cant subscribe from where im living now due to bank regulations and im one of the dying bunch of Genealogy nuts in the family on a line no one ever

Sources and its going to the become a subscriber page. Is this a breech of contract with your users to deny access to stuff they have on their pages? Im sure you've found some loophole. I attached stuff back when I hardly knew what I was doing and now those records could hold info I missed or didnt

In the cemetery of my grandparents is the remains of a man charged in the assignation of Lincoln. I just found a connection to Lincoln through my dad. His law partner is related to my mom.

I hate when they were named Sarah Jane and were called Patsy! And I now believe that Alcey is a variant of todays Alice.

I can vouch for all the way back to where they immigrated to USA beyond that is a battle ground of genealogy authors.

When I clearly spaced the name and his middle name is a split name Abd Salam but thats where languages conflict too.
March 14, 2025 at 12:20 PM
I always felt it was due to folks not having education, new language, error in clerk recording. My grandfather has a mysterious T on some records, yet swears he had no middle name. My 4th daughter on her birth certificate her father has "abd" added to his first name. Clerk says it was my fault. Why

I thought about this today a family started with Blanding ended up with a change in 1900 to Blanden how should we treat these? I try to note it but many times ive fixed the error as I see it but its why soundex is useful tool. I know with my husbands surname even here there is dozen spellings when
