Ok folks im going for night. Took a bit of cash and sil got a ride to market. Nothing in easy walking from here. I got enough for two weeks if im careful. My fridge is bare but Alhamdulilah it could be worse. Im always thankful. Heres what 60 dinars or 10$ bought me here. Now you wonder why I stay?

Our culture into a few of the pieces. What do you think? We dont do faces and I love trolls and flower bud babies and thought these would reuse her old tea pot. The lid is the base for the red doll. The doll in white is how the older women use to dress to go outside. I bought my first one with her.

Ok so why isn't the language option letting me choose other languages? Ive tried and it wont scroll..I wanted to add arabic posts as I watch for local And regional news.

So this is what I created today. These were broken pottery and a few repurposed stuffed toys and a ketchup bottle. Few bits of fabric,flowers and lace pieces. Ran out of glue stick 😭 so I had to stop wanted a no sew day. The white doll is traditional designed. Many of the parts are 20+ yrs old.

I could have used your brains yesterday. Working on doll clothes and my machine was acting up. Went to YT and found a bunch of how to videos and solved it hours later. Hoping I can finish the dress today. Using old scraps of fabric I even managed to put bit of contrast to it. The romper I completed

The bottom left oddly turned lighter on camera but is dark. I was doing sea colors in the room and those reminded me of fishes and corals.
