I can truly and honestly say I’m looking forward to leaving Atlanta. The city is getting so hard to maneuver I know living in any large city you face those challenges, but we’ve been here for so long and it’s gotten worse and worse and worse.

Snake Bite. Laci was bitten by a snake during the labor day weekend which fortunately we were able to get... after Laci was bitten on the toe, Bruno and Bacco pulled it into two parts and we were able to get that to the emergency room with us. LUCKILY was not a venomous snake... antibiotics.

My little tiny mother passed away...
We’re on day 3 of much less response from my little mother. We can’t get her to open her eyes for more than a few mins … she is eating much less and stopped talking but to say daddy is there. Since my dad passed in 1998. So she’s probably hovering in the middle somewhere.

Well, we’re in the middle of the worst part of dementia and sundowners syndrome. This is brutal and I’m constantly reminding myself this is not about me my feelings this woman that is my mother is not who I think she is.

We are now 2 full days without any "ghost pain" from Bacco. Hubby and I are finally back to getting 5 uninterrupted hours of sleep.

On our way home from Dr. Stacy they can find nothing wrong with Bacco. X-ray show nothing so they’re thinking it could possibly be a soft tissue but he is giving us nothing. He’s doing nothing no whining no crying so we’re on two weeks of carpovet.

Bacco is dealing with a pretty serious ghost injury. 3 yrs ago he sprained is front left leg pretty badly and now today out of the blue he got up limping and crying. We can massage it. We can ambulate the joints and he is not bothered. So we’re off to vet in morning.

Tonight for the last couple hours the dementia and sundowners syndrome has caused my mother, whom I love so dearly, to say some of the most horrible things to me. I just remember this is my little mother and I know she has a disease and continue to offer my heart and hand. Long night.
