The best mexican restaurant around me is a place that is also a Mexican grocery, they only serve tacos - chicken, chorizo, or potato, that's it - and only with soft corn tortillas, each taco is $1, and if you ask for no cilantro they'll call you a bitch. It rules.

Not for nothing, but there are tons of jobs in HVAC, plumbing, ironwork, electrical, etc. Most are decent to good paying. If you have inclination and ability, you can make a good living in the trades.

I love that it's not a problem that the police have military grade gear and a license to kick any door down based on any anonymous tip and that's all fine. The real problem, you see, is a lack of comity and citizenship - run by the same paper that sucks its own dick interviewing bigot diner patrons.
