I ended up running Cat5e to the computer and the 'smart' TVs. The laptops and tablets are WiFi, though. I did have a problem with the WiFi being flaky at times, but noticed the modem was getting hot so I taped a fan to it. It's been solid since.

My burning bush comes alive this time of year. For some reason flies are attracted to it, so of course many-legged predators are abundant.
The mantis' name is Hilda. 😊 She's lived solely in that bush all summer. I watched her grow up!
