The doll discourse hasn't confronted the most basic question: Why do we have tariffs on dolls?
"Will they prevent fentanyl getting into the country? Do they prevent illegal immigration? Will they help national security? Is this about onshoring the jobs of the future so that my kids can grow up to manufacture plastic dolls in a sweatshop?"
