When we adopted Jemima, the desk person told us we'd arrived on a "fee reduced from $50 to $10 week." We said, "That's nice, but we'll pay the full amount. If you want, you can apply the $40 to four adopters who might not even afford the ten bucks." Best money we ever spent!

Ohio already kinda has one (not in Cleveland, though). I remember visiting this place back in the early '60s. My mom was always into taking the family to weird and interesting places for a Sunday excursion.

Here's Jemima, our own rescue cat. Nice to meet you and Walter (that was my grandfather's name -- well, not the "Whiskers" part).

Jemima prefers a bed, but she'll also curl up on a dining room chair, a closet shelf that's stacked with blankets, and inside one of my wife's dresser drawers. Summertime means a table snooze on our second-floor balcony.
