Morning all.
I am trying to wean myself off my dependency on a daily social media fix. So much going on it was frying my brain. In a world of Trump, Netanyahu & Reform, I feel totally useless to stop the frightening growth of far right leaders.
Thankfully I have riding my bike to keep me sain. 🤪

A bit off topic, but as a proud Scot I found the BBC two part documentary on the 'Rise & Fall of Michelle Morn' fascinating and upsetting viewing. What a complete self seeking bitch she is. She needs dragged through the streets of Glasgow and her titles stripped.

Weather took an unfortunate turn over the weekend here, so I whimped out doing a run Sunday. I regret it. It's time I regrew a pair and stop being a fair-weather biker. Got all gear, just lack the bottle.
Rally season in 2 weeks, so I better get used to it.

Off 'doon the watter' to visit Rothsey on the beautiful Isle of Bute with my West Coast crew, Clyde Valley HOG. Weather a bit dodgy but hopefully only the odd shower. Always great fun and the Scottish scenery never fails to put on a show.

So good to hear new zoo regulations will improve the sad life these wild animals have be made to endure in captivity. Why on earth do we need such places, when we have such brilliant natural history TV to see them in the wild, is beyond me.

So good to hear new zoo regulations will improve the sad life these wild animals have be made to endure in captivity. Why on earth do we need such places, when we have such brilliant natural history TV to see them in the wild, is beyond me.

Took the bike down to my bike guru guy Alan @ Customized Choppers, this for its pre season work over. -3°C when I left the garage and still sub zero all the 20 miles down to the shop. Lots of squeaky bum moments. Full thermals and heated grip on, still bloody 🥶

Well that was fun......NOT!

My Ruby is off to the bike doctor Friday, for a major overhaul. Decided that rather than replace her I'd just have lots of work done and keep her. She's been a good and trusted friend and we've covered near 25k together, so she's a keeper. 😘
Just need to sell that other kidney on eBay now. 🙄
