You might get fewer with a good igloo! Snow is a very good insulator.

Personally, I would refine my igloo technique.

Unironically based. 🤡

In any case, the language is confused. I don’t know what I’m doing yet. I guess I’ll have to pull a Shakespeare and reinvent the English language.

Probably depends on what “minimally” means. I don’t think that there are good people, but there are bad people and then there are BAD people. Some people are good enough to live and become better with. Those people are minimally good by my lights. But there are others that are intolerably bad.

To be fair, I don’t know many utilitarians. A lot of the departments I’ve inhabited are crawling with intuitive Kantians or, like, Rossians, and so people often represent Sidgwick as some kind of naïve totalitarian.

In Canada, most scholarships explicitly exclude anyone who has completed the second year of a PhD program. So if you are in year 3 with another three to four years left, fuck you, I guess.

I haven’t read it in a long time, and I had only read it as a classicist looking for reception of the ancients, but it seemed to me more insightful than I had been led to believe, fairly adeptly dealing with problems for utilitarianism.

This was from twitter, where it belongs. But still. There’s a guy asking about the moral implications of biological relationships for Thompson, and people are being very reasonable in response.

One of the main reasons that I can’t support Canada’s NDP is that they’re twelve in exactly these ways. I’m fairly left wing for a liberal, but they’re absolutely not living in the world and it’s embarrassing.

Definitely more drugs, but the relevant difference here is actually that his hairpiece is about half a centimetre too far back so his hairline looks weird, and that changes the whole look of his face.

For some reason, I read this with all the vowels making the same sound. Probably the many es.
