Bigotry requires dehumanization, you have to not only free the prisoner, but also the guard

The worst part about this bombing that Trump did in Iran, is that it wasn’t even successful. So we’ve made all Americans unsafe/potentially entered a war, and didn’t even hit the objective… such dumb

It’s so weird to live in an area where most of the people I talk to do not ‘like politics’ or ‘want to participate’, or ‘insert non voter excuse’. And, they legitimately have no idea what’s happening right now. Idk how to feel about it, but I just drop subtle clues and hope they start looking 🤷‍♀️

I feel at a loss for how to express myself properly with the whirlwind that’s going on. Like am I just supposed to go to work and pretend its not happening or like anything i do is important? I could repost some things that will only be read by people who agree with me 🤷‍♀️ idk

This is the stupidest coup, I dont understand why people like what’s going on. Like I get certain people of the highest income bracket are celebrating, but people around me who are just marginally above the poverty line?!

I think the MAGA is now trying to take over Reddit. I’m watching some of the more conservative subreddits and they talk as if they dont have X, Meta, & Tiktok. I think the if the MAGA movement is going to attempt to take over all social media, then Reddit will be their next target.

Hey guys can we please stop talking about eggs? I know it’s something that is being used as a metric, but can we focus more on the actual virus rather than the economics of egg?

I don’t understand why he made such a fuss about the flag being half-staff if he’s gonna do it inside anyway

I knew they were taking over many social media platforms, but this happened fast. Soon there will be very few social medias that aren’t controlled by or sympathetic to a very limited subset of opinions.

It is unconscionable to hold disaster victims hostage as part of a scheme to pass massive tax breaks for billionaires and wealthy corporations.

Let me politely articulate our position to House Republicans.

Get lost.

I hate the double standard that Dems/liberals have to live up to. It’s stupid and disingenuous.

Mexico's top economy officials on Tuesday downplayed concerns about trade talks with Donald Trump's administration, saying the potential impact on American companies could give the incoming U.S. president second thoughts about levying massive tariffs.

I would like to speak up today for the trans community.

You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1

My current hot take:
Re: Evangelical Christianity and Elections

If the economy is more important to you than human rights, then you do not worship the Christian God, you worship money.
