Trump wants Greenland. Greenland is Danish territory. Denmark is an American ally, through NATO. Rubio says the US is still committed to NATO. So, the US argument that the US needs Greenland as a US state making it US territory, to secure world peace(!), is completely void.

As expected, UK moves on with talks on free trade agreements with Asia outside China. EU will most certainly follow. Ursula von der Leyen met with PM of India last week, stating there will be a free trade agreement this year. The world has alternatives to trading with the US. Trump did not get that.

Contrary to Trump's Tuesday address in Congress, S Korean tariffs on US goods are not even close to being 4 x US tariffs on S Korea. Apart from misinforming Congress, Trump has no answer to what US goods S Korea would like to buy more of. Higher tariffs will just backfire on US Big Tech and US jobs.
Fact-checking Trump's tariff claim about South Korea. What are his real motives?

Good point.
Ukraine has supplied the U.S. with extensive intelligence and vast amounts of data on Russian technology, captured equipment, battlefield operational guides, weapon performance, and countermeasures against US provided systems. A shame no one seems to remembers or appreciates it

The Norwegian public pension fund, NBIM, is run under a set of ethical guidelines. Its possession of Tesla stocks is no longer compliant, and the company is also on its way down. The Norwegian welfare state can"t keep connected to Musk anymore. Time for NBIM to leave Tesla now, before it"s too late.

Probably the most politically convenient foot-and-mouth disease that has ever occurred, considering these two countries' official stance on Ukraine.
The U.K. has moved to ban meat and dairy imports from Hungary and Slovakia after a case of foot-and-mouth disease was confirmed along the border between the two countries on Friday, less than two months after an outbreak in Germany.

For those of you who may have doubted that S Korea is a state of justice. This instance seems to be a good example of excellent judicial craftsmanship. The law is not there to cheer the popular among us, and prosecutors must face consequences of making mistakes. I take no stand for or against Yoon.

The world has the Japanese car industry, the Korean, the French, and the German car industry. Why on earth would a buyer outside the US want an American car instead? Just take a look at an American welding edge and compare it to a Japanese welding edge. Tariffs will not help to deal with that.

Tesla decrease of sales in Europe Feb 24 to Feb 25, 76 % down in Germany, 26 in France, approximately 50 in Scandinavia. Britain only exception, up 20. In the meantime, German, Japanese, Korean brands grow. They have experience, volume and know how to make cars. Tesla cars are generally not as good.

Europe just needs to get used to that the US has left the free world and is no longer part of our team. We must look to Asia outside China, which represents 24 percent of world GDP. Making more friends there is a good idea. China's economy is significantly smaller than the rest of Asia's economy.
