Just found this little gem by accident that I bought from @andersdahl.bsky.social in 2006, but never listened to.

It's nice!

This is similar to what I do when I compose drones with an analog synth, but this has much higher precision: "...created in SuperCollider, enabling precise control of individual harmonics, ... and the ability to carve pitched tones from unpitched material."

Just watched this Bob Dylan film where they smoke ciggaretts for four hours, and I love it! I stopped smoking this monday and will always love smoking.

There still seems to a hope for techno music.
Over the past 15 years, Blawan’s feral techno productions have taken him into ever stranger and more unhinged territory. His new album, 'SickElixir', marks a return – in spirit – to his hometown of Doncaster, and to the raw emotions it continues to evoke.

Jag kommer!
This Friday Oct 3 @ Inkonst
Alan Licht + Konstantine

Alan Licht—a guitar nomad between noise and song—returns with expansive loops, drone‑arguments, and delicate ruptures. His playing is as much about what you don’t hear as what lingers in the echo.
Support is Konstantine, Malmö's modular alchemist

This is extremely nostalgic to me! Their music sounds like London does to me. Underworld does that as well. It almost make me want to get back to London. I haven't been there since 1997.
"Like magpies, they’ve made new out of artefacts with which they grew up (decimalisation records, lines from obscure British films, quips from TV quiz shows) and the culture that surrounded them as they grew older (funky drummer samples, Berlin techno, quotes from European modernist architects)."
The Strange World Of… Saint Etienne | The Quietus
In the April 1993 issue of Select (a key text in the run-up to Britpop) the first band interviewed in its famous ‘Yanks Go Home’ feature wasn’t its cover stars, Suede. It was Saint Etienne, a trio named after a French football team. In the piece, they answer some questions about Britishness. Bob Stanley on […]

I've listened to this a few times today.
Using hardware store materials and spiritual guidance, Amina Hocine built an organ that breathes, complains, and refuses to be controlled. Her album 'ātamōn' captures each pipe's distinct personality in the reverberant depths of an abandoned iron mine.
