When people wonder what program/project/operations coordinators/managers/assistants do, it’s this stuff. Some idea people really appreciate them, and some do not.

I care insofar as much as I don’t want there to be 5 desserts and 2 sides and 3 people who can’t eat anything because of dietary restrictions, but that’s all more about planning than what the literal food is.

There are multiple cools, and I’m more concerned with making the dinner being a disorganized sh*tshow—e.g., 5 people in the kitchen Thursday afternoon & nothing done before 9pm—than what we actually eat.

I still haven’t seen the Kaya Scodelario WH, but have been interested. People have convincingly argued that Heathcliff could have been Black (an orphan found slave trade port city, described as dark), and Scodelario has played the girl guys obsess over well.

Yup to all of this. The protective auntie in me comes out because of all the misguided folks mistaking it for romance.

I’m reminded of the unhinged MTV Wuthering Heights that I stumbled upon. It’s horrible and barely watchable. It removes all the cousins, and the whole second generation, but evokes how messed up the whole situation is.
