Wut? We state there was lobbying. We also mention it was mostly skeptical. We argue it would be facile *to suggest country positions were determined* by that. You disagree? *Also* we don't say scientific research wd be "useless". We argue assuming this would clear up int. disagreement is foolish.

Except it's not true that we reject 'any suggestion there might have been lobbying'. We specifically note that there was lobbying from accredited participants. By both sides, mostly skeptical ones (just like most countries were skeptical).
