Board device more often. I use it at least 6 - 8 times per day for 10 minute sessions at least once every hour when working at home on a computer.

Core genertion of movement, again by being CREATIVE, something I never see in the gym nowdays because every person under 50 years of age is on their phone more than working out, you can set those muscles on fire after 10 minutes wearing the one pound weighed gloves or a weighted vest.

2. As a skater, balance is very important - pull out the simply board and work on your poor balance. Skater required more muscle fibers and are pushing off with their vastus lateralis and vastus medialis in their hamstrings, muscles that are not overly worked with moving in a forward plane.
