Now that I’m more confident at painting, I decided to get Angron off the shelf and add some shading and dried blood to his skin.
I’m pretty happy with the result!
I was afraid of overdoing it with the blood, but I think I managed to resist before doing too much?

Trying to resist the urge to add more frost and snow to Mr. Wolfspear. I think he needs more, but I’m concerned about overdoing it.

I’ve been experimenting lately with trying to get a frosty effect on my Warhammer bases ❄️ 🧊
I’ve still got a ways to go before I’m happy with the result, but it’s been fun playing around to try create what it looks like in my head.
Mittens has been helping, of course. He says they still need work.

Building Warhammer means ensuring every spare bit goes in the appropriate spares tub 🤓
I like customising my models a lot (ie. ignoring instructions) so my tubs have really come in handy over the years.

I’ve taken a break from painting World Eaters* and had a go at some Emperor’s Children lately.
Still messier than I’d like, but it’s nice to see how much I’ve improved from where I started ☺️
*And Drukhari and Chaos Knights… and Sororitas… oh and loyalist marines. Plus a bit of Tau too actually…
