Chickens: Hate putting their feet in the snow, stay on the straw paths for weeks. Lighter hens fly straight over the pond if motivated
Ducks: Living icebreakers crashing around the frozen pond, making a new path through the snow on each journey they take in search of treats

Cover is up on the new henhouse! Doors and a whole lot of drying up to go before the pullets can move out of the brooders. They are ready!

Now this is love. We have a redbud tree where half of the tree had fallen down before we moved in. The rest of the tree fell down last year sometime. But the lower part is still alive with a lot of new growth and flowers blooming on it right now.
