Most adults in this country are already being sorted into some sort of domestic enemy database based on their race, religion, sexual orientation, political party, comments online, etc.

I think it also matters that a lot of those protesters are white and Christian. Many of these goons probably assumed those folks would be on their side and weren’t expecting to be screaming at by people who remind them of their own friends and family members.

One time I was waiting at the terminal and they were playing the score from Schindler’s List on the speakers.

Nothing was happening before they started shooting off non-lethal munitions and the cops started to block off the roads as folks were complying with orders to disperse.

The night they mass arrested hundreds of people after the G7, all of the delegates had already left the city. There were a bunch of activists playing hacky sack in Schenley Plaza and then a bunch of people came out to see what was happening.

They’re not being properly trained. No one told them they’re not supposed to stop and look down after they run off a cliff.
