To make redoing my website more fun, I decided to do it in Svelte, just to make a change from React. It's great but looks like github pages won't cut it with what I want to do. I've got Netlify, Vercel and Render as options so far. Anything else? Any opinions? Free is preferredif possible.

'Ethel' the strawberry plant has produced her first flower! Have heard that first flowers could be pinched off for better growth, and as an experiment I'm going to do that with the other pot o strawberries

Conversation with someone on LinkedIn...or is it? Seemed ok until I mentioned the term birds of pray* and then I realised how quick the response was and they didn't know what 'The birds of pray' are. Imagine using AI to answer your DMs 🙄(possibly a good idea, but maybe be honest about it?)

I'm not as chronically online as I used to be and whilst a large part of that is related to being busy offline, I'm increasingly turned off community and social media so just prefer to do other things.

Great weekend. Did pottery painting and now I want to o do more. Thought I would make some kind of Xmas gift but ended up seeing a yarn bowl and couldn't resist as I've always wanted one! Guess it's a gift to myself 🤷♀️
