It’s about 1/4 mile with a moving walkway that’s about 4 mins.

If you really wanted to you could just build a blue line viaduct over there I guess.

They added the temperature to the clock in Harvard Sq but in the equivalent of size five hint so unless you’re standing right beneath it and squinting you can’t see what it says.

The 5 largest cities in Connecticut have been the top 5 since 1950 with movement within the group but not out of it.

But it's an even state. A big enough wave can wash through the 8 R+5 to R+10 districts they gerrymandered.

In light of the D+14 Marist poll today, here is a histogram of CPVI rankings for current house seats, binned in 3-point bins (except for EVEN).

Within 6 points of even, the Democrats have 58 and the Republicans 47, plus the 9 even, so in a normal election there are about 114 competitive seats.

Can you total this check and calculate a 20% tip?

If you can, you're smarter than 3/4 of high schoolers, apparently.

(You—and they—should be able to do this in your head.)

Just shy of 5 feet of snow on Mount Washington this month so far, well ahead of any year in the past two decades.

The record of 86.6" is within reach but will need some help, tomorrow may be just the third snow-free day this month and no big storms on the horizon.

Temperature ranges are much greater in winter than summer *on average*, although the lowest temperature spread of about 30° is relatively constant across the seasons.

There were plenty of frozen puddles this morning, but Logan airport once again bottomed out at 34° this morning (the 4th 34° reading this month, with one day at 33°).

So, when will Boston have its official first freeze?
