I made honey chipotle salmon with roasted zucchini- 9 out of 10. I think it should have a bit of sugar to help give it a little crust but the overall taste was lovely.

I made chicken tacos and it was excellent (my house still smells like seared ancho & citrus), 9 out of 10. Another new to me recipe, made of new to me recipes. Jalapeño, lime cilantro crema, & homemade pico de gallo on top of marinated shredded chicken & oven warmed corn tortillas.

I made chocolate mousse

Blackened halibut spinach florentine was a huge hit, I heated a little baguette on the side (just a discount loaf from kings). 12 out of 10, easy to throw together on a weeknight. Recipe coming soon!

I will straight up send you my word doc w all 5+ PCs if you want! 😂

Some say to start w a human fighter so here's mine: a folk hero named Sybil. These pics are from my notes app so from before my ideas were fully formed.

My fave PC idea so far is probably my half-elf ranger or half-orc barbarian!

Idk how I forgot to post this but I made jalapeño crab rangoons and they were awesome 🥰 these are the only photos I have because they were 10 out of 10, we ate the entire batch instead of freezing half as planned (whoops). Cream cheese, green onion, garlic, jalapeño, crab, wonton wrappers + egg wash

New recipe #13 of 2025: clam chowder. This one was for the nostalgia. 9 outta 10 but not too often.

We had garlic butter sourdough toast (farmers market again) on the side, which really made the meal tbh

This recipe but without bell pepper or flour:

Another new to me recipe but it's just a bunch of perishables thrown in a pot.

I had onion, jalapeños, leftover rice, bell pepper, garlic, tomatoes, queso, cheddar, and frozen corn from the summer farmers market left.. so I made a weird dip and we ate it with spicy tortilla chips. 9/10.

Sometimes I just mash a bunch of ingredients together and call it dinner. This is technically new recipe #11 for the year and it's mostly just leftovers and things I needed to use before they go bad: baked potatoes, leftover green chile & white queso, bell pepper, garlic, beans, chives, & cheese.

Chicken noodle soup was a success! New Recipe of 2025 #11. 9 out of 10.

I didn't mince the fresh thyme, just tossed the sprigs in. I halved this recipe and it was more than enough for 2 people. Next time I would use thinner egg noodles, more broth, and I would shred the chicken into smaller bits.

Making homemade chicken noodle soup for the first time ever, wish me luck!

Made creamy Cajun shrimp pasta tonight and it was disappointing. The seasoning mix, perfect. I added bell pepper + celery to add texture. My number one issue with this recipe was the combo of parmesan and Cajun spices. Not a win for me unfortunately but edible.

New recipe #9 for 2025. 6 out of 10.

I made turkey chili again last night and it was truly awesome and very filling. I need to make cast iron corn bread again next time. I'm working on getting together a recipe blog of some sort to share the things I make up. Any platform recs? #recipe

I need to actually write my recipes down because I made spinach feta turkey burgers again and at this point it's 4 recipes mashed together + my own twists but seriously 10 out of 10 tonight yall

I made my own tzaziki with this recipe (new recipe #9!):

Agnes is my sourdough starter, I moved jars post-explosion but now she doesn't look the same so we're in a very delicate stage.

What am I doing? My best (I assume)

I made orange chicken last night! It took me 3 hours (adhd + I only had bone-in chicken thighs + my knives suck) and the chicken was not worth it tbh. That said, the orange sauce was perfect and I will be making this again w deboned chicken & broccoli.

8 out of 10. Use less cornstarch in the sauce.

I have very pretty cats and they'll be 8 years old next month 😭 how did this happen?? They were babies yesterday

Another update for those interested: my blackened miso-marinate black cod turned out beautifully texture and taste-wise, less blackened than expected. Next time I'll be flipping the fish to get a nice brown on top. I'll also slice smaller fillets for easier marinating. 9 out of 10.

Toronto with my best friend really reawakened my love of food and art. All museums should be free.

Here's the miso black cod and the duck panang curry I had 😍

In November @profitez.bsky.social took me to Nobu in Toronto and I've been dreaming of the food we ate ever since. Here's the first look at my attempt to make my own miso black cod! Easy marinade- white miso paste, sake, and mirin.

Let the cats smell the sake I brought home for cooking this week and they had to make sure they came to the same conclusion

I haven't been cooking as much over the last few days but I have big plans for this week! For now here's an excellent old fashioned I made for CJ like 2 weeks ago:

This is my template for characters! It's super fun. Druids are my fave to play so far but I try to make my Tavs varied so the playthroughs are totally different.
