‘First american pope in the catholic church’s 2000 year history’, yeah but there were some extenuating circumstances for 1700 of those years

Create more content glamorising being a dumb teen and doing lots of drugs again to stop the covid generation developing into weird isolated misogynists.

These covid kids need skins.

We need to stop introducing our worst politicians to elderly figureheads. The despair of meeting them is terrible for their health.
First liz truss killed the queen and now jd vance got the pope. Keep trump away from my boy attenborough.

Nintendo theory: There exists a group in the company who fully believe that alternating between releasing good and bad consoles is vital to their long term success. They are doing their best to sabotage the console in any minor way they can to maintain balance in the world.

Nintendo are funny people:

We made our instruction manual into a game!
You have to pay for it!

I cannot believe shrek 5 has memes and tiktok humour, back in my day shrek had layers.

Layer 1: fart jokes
Layer 2: pop culture musical numbers
Layer 3: poop jokes

They’re ruining it!!!

OpenAI already in the reaping stage. Maybe they’ll start pushing for regulation around data licensing if only to price out the competition.

If luigi, a side kick at best, can manage all that imagine what mario could do.

Saw someone's knob and inflation fetish art on my discover page today.

The dark clouds of people complaining about twitter are lifting, the light of strange internet niches peeking through.

An exhilarating dopamine rush as I click 'Show less like this', knowing I'll miss them soon enough.

Reading Circe has gotten me back thinking about mythology.

I find it interesting how fallible the Olympians are, more representing the real systems of control that are nigh impossible to dislodge.

Personal stories and struggles told using the Gods as stand-ins to make the stories universal.

Every time I cut my own hair I wish I had a haircutting sword like Mulan. A pair of scissors just isn’t the same.

Watching Schitt’s Creek again, Annie Murphy is such a good comedy actor, every word out of Alexis Rose’s mouth is hilarious and her prim rich girl mannerisms are perfect, elevates every scene shes in.

Rumours say that the new iPhone Air will be thin enough to cut with.
Representatives of local gangs have expressed high interest in this development, many saying they will consider swapping from android if true.
Tim apple is hoping this innovation will secure a foothold in the knife crime markets.

As a sucker for stories about people pursuing their dreams I loved Look Back, an anime film based on a one shot by Tatsuki Fujimoto(author of Chainsaw Man, which is also excellent).

Beautifully animated and emotionally resonant for me. Well worth checking out.

You can tell bluesky is becoming more popular because half my feed is no longer burly furries with human nipples and dicks that would make anyone faint. Ive got posts by mark cuban instead.

You dont know what you had till its gone.

Watched The Substance, quite liked it but it didn’t feel like it had enough in the concept for its long run time.

Ironically more style than substance. Still worth a watch.

Ive been reading Prophet Song by Paul Lynch, its an excellent book exploring how authoritarianism affects those who cannot uproot and fight back, written in a paragraphless style that instills anxiety into every page.

However it is the opposite of escapism, so i think itll be a dnf for now.

Centrism has collapsed, it does not win against populism. Apathy and maintaining the status quo does not compete with the promise of change when people are struggling. The American democrats need to catch up and fight for meaningful change that people actually care about.

The internet is showing its true power as a propaganda tool today, it learns what you hate, what you fear and provides more, more, more. An endless gushing siphon, all access all the time. Worming its way through your brain, eating away at the unnecessary, leaving only its simple solution.
