I write for a living actually. You just learn not to fret about it after a while. I think of it like a message in a bottle. Almost like an exercise in futility. Don’t think about it as something that’s gonna be seen by everyone, just hope it gets noticed at all.

I took it as kind of a, “I don’t LOVE this, but there is merit to the marine idea. We’re gonna need the marines for whatever comes next, we’re gonna need GOOD marines one day.” He is the SWORD guy. He’s the real bastion of what the marines ought to be. He sucks at it. But that’s the bit I think.
