Unveiling the Hidden Power of Sponges in Our Oceans

Join us as we dive into a fascinating experiment, using safe fluorescent dye to reveal the invisible yet vital filtration work sponges perform in the ocean. #OceanScience #MarineBiology #SpongeResearch #OceanInnovation #marinescience

Check out this huge Dusky Morwong living in this sponge garden. A great example of a larger species that makes its home in our stunning sponge gardens in Southern Australia, which we are helping to restore and enhance. #marinescience #biotechnology

From sponges to sea lions. Restoring and enhancing the seabed is critical to all ocean ecosystems.
Australian fur seals are hands-down the most fun animals to film! They’re like the underwater acrobats of the ocean, darting around, pulling off spins, and always looking curious about the camera.
