It’s like watching Monty Pythons How Not To Be Seen skit, in real life

on the bright side, Tylenol has three syllables. It's the first 3 syllable word he's used in a week.

I'm happy they blew something up, but blowing up old submarine warfare planes in this war is like peeing yourself while wearing a dark wool suit: You get a warm fuzzy feeling, but nobody else really notices....

I like that they threw the meeting together in an office cubicle and that the third item on their agenda was the disappearance of a red Swingline stapler. The president bought that special with his own money you know....

Trump didn't read a statement because he can't read, but he did ramble on for 20 minutes during which the only truthful statement was how much he likes pudding.

Pull the other one.

Is it just me, or do the TOS-1A systems, once within drone range, have the shelf life of a banana?
July 28, 2025 at 4:01 PM
1.SKC, you have misinterpreted the article. South Korea has asserted that to date North Korea has provided Russia with 28,000 shipping containers of weapons and munitions. If they were all filled with 152mm rounds and nothing else, they assert thesescontainers could in theory hold 12,000,000 rounds

Does anyone have a good number for what legacy stockpile Ukraine still has?
If any?
July 8, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Does everyone understand that 36 unarmored trucks represent a battalion of second line troops, not an offensive?
June 30, 2025 at 1:15 PM
Does that mean that Russia is running out of POWs but Ukraine isn't?
June 16, 2025 at 4:19 PM
3/ I encourage you to go to the primary website and track the total armored vehicles calculations as an alternative
June 11, 2025 at 5:19 PM
2/ Additionally, so many of Ukraine's losses are made up of lighter military vehicles such as hummers and Senators, categories of military vehicles which only a limited number of Tigrs are equivalent in Russian service.
June 11, 2025 at 5:12 PM
1/I fear that reported losses totals are going to become less representative of the conflict as time goes on, and loss of civilian vehicles become more prevalent.

He might ask that. Or he might ask for tapioca pudding. Or invade Greenland. Or declare himself Pope Or eat a socket wrench. Or spray everyone with Febreze. Or demand everyone in Djibouti buy a Tesla. Or blame Biden for the last Ice Age. Or blame Biden for the last Ice Age Movie.
/ I can go all day.

It's doubtful that they are being sent forward for artillery assistance- most have no modern optics or targeting modules and their gun caliber is no longer standard, so additional munitions nodes are needed to supply them. No, these are on the way to becoming turtle tanks and then flaming explosions

I've yet to see a compelling argument that US/ China trade tensions are on track to resolve in May.
April 30, 2025 at 4:10 PM
Are they expecting a drop of 35% in dockings, or a lot of half empty ships? Total volume is the target measure, but its nice to know how the sausages are made...
April 30, 2025 at 4:07 PM
So we're waiting on the 3rd 18th and 19th then. Cool.

It's like an advertisement for cluster munitions

It seems the deal has been marked down to irrelevancy to Ukrainian economics, and has dumped the absurd assumption that previous aid to Ukraine is convertible to a loan. I don't think this can cause a lot of damage in the next 4 years, and can be rewritten then.
April 30, 2025 at 3:58 PM
Yeah, Q@ is going to be the first 'true' lead. Large economies have inertia- February numbers have more to do with what happened in December than in February, and it rolls forward from there.

Your TOE didn't break down what artillery you think they will have, or what the TOE says they will have. I know what a mech artillery group has, but have nothing to compare against. And it does vary between Uke brigades dependent largely on inception date.
April 30, 2025 at 3:48 PM
I agree that motorized battalions are, on paper, mechanized. I don't think we disputed that. What I was noting that with 6-7 battalions, a soviet division is equivalent to a Uke mech brigade, which is now between 6-9 battalions per brigade. In essence nomenclature. I'm not sure we agree on artillery
April 30, 2025 at 3:45 PM
So a current Russian motorized division has about the same infantry battalions as a Ukrainian mech brigade, with no tanks and less equipment or artillery. Gotcha.
