This was our experience too. My husband spent $800 to learn the stray kitten we were taking care of was constipated. Absolute robbery. VCA owned. Unfortunately he’s not savvy enough to realize he needed to push back. Lesson learned. We’re switching to a vet unaffiliated with private equity.

It’s slow going here as there isn’t as many of us but I still prefer it even though engagement is super low. I have found I get better interaction on book centric posts with hashtags, though.
