Marxist socialism/communism (same thing) is when we all own the means of production and distribution (factories, utilities, natural resources etc). No ruling class. No state control. Money abolished. Voluntary working. Free access to goods and services.
If it’s unacceptable for “pernicious touts” to exploit people by acquiring tickets and then profiting by selling what they need, what about utilities doing the same thing with electricity, gas and water; or house builders; or landlords; or food producers... In fact, what about the entire capitalist

We often get asked who will do ‘unpleasant’ jobs in a socialist society where all work is voluntary. Well firstly, capitalism makes lots of work unpleasant. And in the unlikely event of a shortage of people happy to do certain jobs; robots, automation, AI etc could be used. x.com/OfficialSPGB...

Whenever someone calls for a new leftwing party, ask them why they support capitalism and all of its profit-driven, money-related problems, continuing. Capitalism exists to benefit capitalists. It can’t function any other way. Leftwing attempts to make it benefit the majority always inevitably fail.

More misinformation from the British Bullshit Corporation. “Communist” countries will be those where THE PEOPLE collectively own and control the means of production and distribution — NOT a privileged leader and elite using state forces to control populations. Communism means NO state oppression.

The Socialist Party are against all of capitalism’s wars. The real reason for the attacks on Iran – and why the United States and the West are behind Israel – is to maintain the balance of power in the Middle East. See our view here: www.worldsocialism.org/spgb/

Did manufacturers ever warn you that chewing a piece of gum a day can mean ingesting about 60,000 bits of microplastic a year? Synthetic gum is made from petroleum-based polymers, as are car tyres and plastic bottles. Human lungs, blood, brains and testes are already contaminated with microplastics.

You will die long before you get family-sized social housing in parts of England. 100-year waits are absurd. Capitalism doesn’t prioritise human needs as the genuine (Marxist) socialist society will. In England alone there are now around 700,000 empty homes that www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Capitalism is profit-driven, money-obsessed, outdated and unnecessary. While it continues, so will the chaos, suffering and deaths it causes worldwide. Although capitalism appears invulnerable, in reality, majority support for moneyless Marxian moneyless socialism is all that’s needed to replace it.

Capitalists are making April Fools of the majority. Rising bills are once again squeezing the life out of the working class. It doesn’t have to be like this. We only have to pay bills if we continue allowing a minority to own and control the means of producing and distributing what humankind needs!
