Had the pleasure of teaching some rather seasoned gamers Tiny Towns by @petermacp.bsky.social today. Watching them squirm when they realized they boxed themselves on was a delight. Top 50 game for me for a reason!

Omega Virus Prologue is a demo game by @restorationgames.bsky.social, and I LOVE it. It’s a 2P real time race to lay out cards in specific configurations to match shapes, then race to complete three machines. It’s excellent!

Long discussion with friends today about how the bar is getting higher on what games to add to our collections. Conversation inspired by Waterfall Park, the remake of Chinatown. I love Chinatown but dumped it due to theme/box art. Waterfall Park would have been an easy yes a year ago. Now? Not sure.
