A book I first read at 12 that really stuck with me is Unwind by Neal Shusterman. Speculative YA SciFi that takes place in post pro-choice/pro-life civil war USA and questions morality of a medical process called “unwinding”. I just picked up my own copy and had to get the whole series obvi!
