Anyone else leave the opening scene of their novel for last?

I feel like I have to build the rest of the story to pick the best starting point or perspective. #amwriting

Creative aura farming by writing in a public place while wearing a cardigan, sipping my fancy drink, and furrowing my brows at my laptop (I've written fourteen words)

After months of halfhearted attempts at trying to get back into the writing groove, I think I just have to go back to what works: forcing myself to sit down and write at least a few hundred words and publicly posting my daily word counts.

If writing is a muscle, I think mine's atrophied.
