Heck yeah, failure is a wonderful chance to narrate how poorly things go for your character in a way that you'd find interesting to continue playing off of.
Then again, I usually "play to find out how horribly things can go."

Seems more like we need an Absolute Unit template to slap on normal stat blocks.
