like the implications of that are crazy too bc yeah generally people came into puberty later in the middle ages & abuse and malnourishment can affect things but if armand was entirely prepubescent at that point either he was a VERY late bloomer or he's actually even younger than he thinks he is

it's also crazy bc like. within the scope of him being a Gothic Horror Character where everyone does deplorable shit and nobody is truly Good it's not even the noncery that makes him dislikable it is his god awful personality but none of them are defending him on that front lol

i think it's similar to my gripe with people saying "unalived" for killed or died like if you are in a scenario where you must use innuendo or euphemism there are others that exist which sound less childish

generally i don't mind it in any other context (except the term "neurospicy" that makes me want to commit crimes they don't have names for yet) but for some reason for smut and sexual content it gets right under my skin
