Seems to me that “Traditional” is quite often what we think we remember from our last parish and wish the rector would do at our current parish. The rector who sent me to seminary once said that whatever you do 3x is in danger of becoming a tradition.

I don’t know that I’ve thought that much about advantages and disadvantages. It was just different. Retiring next year and plan to sit in the pew with occasional supply.

It was somewhere near Palatka. It was one of those driving adventures looking for Episcopal churches. I don’t think it was that far north.
