2pm Children’s Service. Sitting with the kids while our Rector tells the Nativity Story. He asks who told the Shepherds that Jesus was born and the child next to me points at the choir and announces “Those Guys!” Love Christmas Eve! ⚓️

We made our pilgrimage today to the new Southern U.S. holy spot - Bucc-ee’s! We’d stopped for gas before but never had we explored the wonder of it all. Who would have thought!?! ⚓️

As an old curmudgeon I don’t typically embrace new ways of messing with what I’m used to! But the choir sang O Come, O Come Emmanuel arr by Elaine Hagenberg today and for just a moment, I let go of my curmudgeoness. It starts at 19:25 or so. ⚓️
