This semester has been awful for swimming as teaching conflicts with pool openings. Drawing down now so back to it. 2200yds of sprint free and water polo stuff… it’s harder than swimming for sure. Pity the water quality was awful in the pool today

Back to it in the pool today swim training for #waterpolo after recent travels. 2600yds of head up free, eggbeater lengths of the pool and some sprints. Having way too much fun with water polo in general!

More water polo pool training in a hotel pool. 5 mins warm up, bunch of head up free, eggbeaters for 30 mins.

5 min warmup, 30 mins eggbeaters with hands out the water, forward reverse, in water lunges and then laps of head up freestyle and sit down backstroke. Good workout!

A week ago I spent 4 days about 3 hours per day snorkeling. Think: duck diving every couple of minutes, treading water for hours. Excellent workout! But have needed a week off to recover…

Started playing water polo so today’s set was 2600 yds mixed swim and WaPo drills. It’s harder than it looks, and reprogramming a distance swimmer isn’t the easiest!

2600yds in our concrete bunker pool (boo), a mix of distance free and distance IM. Had to take it easy since I burned myself in the kitchen last night and probably shouldn’t have been swimming.

A quick 2000yd after two weeks out of the pool. I’ve put on 8lbs in that time thanks to lots of carbs and sitting around with mum. Got to trim down for water polo which starts in 2 weeks.
