Friday Flashback! ⛵️ Check out this incredible shot of BRITANNIA's crew during the "Queen of the Waves" race. 18ft skiff racing was a huge spectacle in Sydney, and this annual charity event featured women sailors! A real slice of harbour history.

The 1891 Morts Dock Steam Crane at Cockatoo Island. Built at Morts Dock in Balmain, it operated at the Fitzroy Dock on the island. Relatively small in size, it could lift 10 tons. This reciprocating twin cylinder steam engine crane was restored to working order by the SHFT volunteers. #navalhistory
