2/4 ➡️ PASSENGER & RO-RO FERRIES: Nearly three-quarters of ferry traffic exceeds 15 knots, with almost a third above 20 knots – speeds that make whale collisions almost certainly fatal. Ferries are the main source of collision risk & underwater noise for endangered fin & sperm whales.
