Man, I wish I could write to exorcise the thoughts. I have so many thoughts. Drowning in ‘em, but don’t have the motivation or confidence to get them out at the moment.

I wallow in my lack of productivity when I don’t write, but I’ve grown weary of wallowing in my lack of engagement when I do write.

“Write for yourself!” That’s well and good, and I admire those who do, but for me, it’s always been about sharing those emotions/experiences through the written word.

I don’t think I’m a shit writer. I’m not phenomenal, but for an amateur w/no formal training who’s used writing as an escape & an outlet since childhood, I’ve always thought I was decent. I have a hard time giving it up.
