I doubt a single mother to be or a patient in the community helped by your mum would think that way. She sounds like an amazing woman and she has (for what it is worth) my respect and admiration for what she did. She made a difference.

To be honest, those last four words pretty much sums it up.

Pretty sure 'trust in politics' was a self inflicted wound opened up by the expenses scandal and then poked and prodded by politicians of all sides for years.
