Trump would never happen in other eras (I’d like to think). We were far more unified in vision, and less extreme. Outliers like this insanity didn’t make it THIS far.

I’d guess it’s a demographic that has been told (by context, history and self-regard) that the world OWES the straight while male success and dominance, and only lesser mortals need to try.
