Having kids is the most fulfilling (and hardest) thing in a million little ways.

I’m so bullish on this. It’s incredible to see America intending to lead the world in blockchain tech and cryptocurrency…and to protect its people by NOT pursuing CBDCs. This is a monumental statement from the White House.

You know, we’d all be better off without TikTok.

ngl, I’m so excited about crypto making a comeback. Some of my favorite projects to work on have been crypto projects, and the community is so inspiring and curious. So many builders, with amazing new things launching daily. Crypto is a blast.

Such a great case study for the power of Rive and Webflow!

This is one of the reasons I’m proud to work at Atlassian Design. Some of the kindest leaders I’ve encountered, professionally.
I wish they would teach kindness in leadership, or how to operationalize humanity and integrity. I’ve experienced this a few times in my career in varying degrees and it fills me with optimism bc creating a better world, a better product, begins with one human at a time.

I really can’t put a finger on it, but Bluesky just FEELS less fun to use than Threads. But only incrementally more fun than X.

Anyone else feeling this?

It’s like a Republican fire sale on leadership positions without needing any form of prior experience.

Anyone out here looking for a job in government?

I was wrong! This was misinformation that I absorbed and re-shared without looking into. I’ll be better about that.

I’m always in the camp that it’s a good idea to dollar cost average Bitcoin as frequently as you can afford to.

It’s starting to look like we should do the same thing with DOGE.

Not financial advice but…

I love that $69,000 makes an EV “affordable”

It’s not even 10pm and all the cookie, cake, and ice cream places that deliver on DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, or Postmates are closed.

This really is the end times.

I wonder at what point I’ll start sleeping better. My baby is 5 weeks old and only sleeps for 20 minutes without contact. We are on 5 weeks of 3-4 hours of sleep a night. It’s catching up to me these days. Exercise may bring more energy, but I’m too tired. 🥱

Anyone got tips?

Starter Packs are a nice feature on Bluesky. A nice answer to not having a strong network graph.

But I’m still struggling with the UX and aesthetic of the app. I much prefer how refined Threads (and even X) feels in comparison

It’s beautiful that all those weird right-wing conservative types on X were mad about people being deplatformed for misogyny, threats of violence, cruelty, etc…

But then they cheer when Steven King gets deplatformed for referring to Trump as “the First Lady.”

It’s hard to pin those nutjobs down!

I asked ChatGPT to generate an image based on everything it know about my life and this is what it came up with. Spookily accurate.

Hey! Just wanted to say thanks for all the writing you've done over the years. I've been a long-time follower of your works, and your design taste, writing voice, and creativity are always an inspiration. Thanks for being you!

I finally got the chance to sit in Claude today for an extended period of time. I'm exploring an app idea, and want to shape the feature set, strategy, and use it to co-write SwiftUI (yeah, I'm late to the party here... I have young kids!)

Honestly, blown away. It's incredible.
