I wonder how much of that 22% has to do with the vaccine itself and how much is socioeconomic or related to the parents' willingness/ability to get their kids vaccinated (or receive other preventative medicine from actual doctors).

There's no way reducing accessibility makes this better.

The clown-shaped nihilism dispenser with a god complex and a laugh that neither time nor death can erase?

...yeah, you're probably right about that.

Whatever it is that connects them to the other PCs on an individual basis. Classes, abilities, background... these are building materials, but IMO the real secret sauce is choosing/adding those in a way that inspires interesting party dynamics.

Great stuff. Not familiar with Great Paw, but you've locked on to the titular vibe without letting it get too stale or draw too much attention to itself. Nicely done.

Yes! It's still sitting next to the recording booth, staring at me like it wants to be sampled more. Have to come up with some more ways to get weird sounds out of it...

To be clear: I've been liking Bazzite for everything else. I'm sure someone smarter than me could get it all working with my VSTs, too. I just don't have the time to troubleshoot any further.

It has been killing me not having access to my libraries and tools for the last month.

Context: I am an electronics engineering technologist and spent 5 years troubleshooting + fixing 100s of PCB designs. I don't use modular, so I may misunderstand something here. What you're dealing with sounds like a ripe pain to deal with, and I'm sorry you've had to.

I'm a little surprised that the big PSU isn't working as well for you as having a bunch of small ones. Every one of those transformers might be putting their output on a different ground (depending on design) and generating their own EMI. You said the big one was cleaner before. What changed?

Otherwise, is there a way you could try isolating the modules via optoisolators on the CV, in your original example? I doubt it would be easily scalable, but it could help to narrow down the root cause.

Short of probing everything via oscilloscope for 100 hours these seem like better options.

If the issue shows up when connecting modules to each other, I might consider trying shielded cables and ensuring the shield gets tied to both of the modules' chassis. The "correct" setup kind of depends. Relevant video explains better than I can: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hj-H...

I was inspired to do this because of @alchemyrpg.bsky.social - their VTT has the ability to mix between 3 music layers like this in any of their enhanced modules. Once it works with custom uploads, I'll probably do exactly that.

(I'm not affiliated with them; I just really like what they're doing)

Specifically, I'm aiming for 2 tempos and 3 stems (moods) for every track (2x3=6).

Does this mean the full version of the album will be ballpark ~50-70 tracks before we even get to ambiences? Yes. Seriously. Have I lost my mind? Probably. Well, maybe. You be the judge.

Right now I'm using the WIP versions of my tracks when I DM my homebrew games, and it's crazy how well it works.

All you need is a way to mix between them - I use my DAW and a MIDI controller, but there's a bunch of software that would work. Something like @syrinscape.bsky.social would work too.
