Nothing like the sound of a crackling campfire. Weirdly I've had this field recorder for years and this is the first time I've used it to record a fire.

Re: Switching to Linux:

I was really hoping I could get all my audio production tools set up on Bazzite, but it's turned into a giant pain (mostly issues with yabridge and VSTs) and has set me back weeks.

I'm hoping AV Linux can get me back on schedule, though it sucks to be migrating again.

What is it even gourd for?

Goodbye, windows. You were alright, but be honest: you stopped loving me after Win7. Linux doesn't stalk me or force me to update in the middle of a recording session. You're a corporate service, and you stopped serving me a long time ago.

Finalised all 6 variants of the first track on my new album this week. That's almost 18 minutes of new music! I'm very pleased with how it turned out, and I'm really looking forward to putting it to use in my own TTRPG sessions. Samples are live on my website now. On to the next one!
