AuDHD, BPD coz of late diagnosis of ADHD and ASD. #DisabilityRebellion
You dont see why some Autistic people like myself wouldnt object to a comment like that? Thankfully the moderators took action for once.

Pure ableism, and yes you do need to be a qualified mental health professional to diagnose conditions in the DSM. How do you think it makes people with psychiatric conditions like personality disorders feel to see the banality of Trumps evil blamed on mental illness? #DisabilityRebellion

Begs the question why that offence wasn't enacted immediately following Royal Assent. Far to much legislation on the statute book has delayed commencement dates. E.g. S1 Equality Act 2010 (socioeconomic duty) still not in force!!!!

Would you say that about racist language? Why is ok for non disabled people get to decide what language is offensive to disabled people? Disappointed in you Andrew!

Why are you spelling Defence, 'Defense' when writing for and about the UK?

Same neoliberal/neoclassical economic orthodoxy that has dominated for 46+ years, regardless of whose been in power, not that Reform aka the provisional wing of the tory Party will be any different on that front. Even Rory the Tory can be heard pushing the reheated thatcherism that Fartrag wants.

Why do you again repeat the lie that benefits (including state pension) increased to record levels under the last government? The OBR says otherwise. Mel Stride maybe ridiculous but you are pumping out propaganda that risks the lives of disabled people.

Yes RR did, its a criminal offence with up to a £30,000 fine, go and read the councils guide for landlords and then the housing act 2004!
November 3, 2025 at 11:15 AM
Dream on, the BBC News challenge their golden boy! BTW why are your 'Peers' in the unelected HOL sabotaging workers rights? When will Libdems be held accountable for the disabled people who died because they put Cameron/Osborne in power?

Law is clear ultimate responsibility for complying with housing law is with the landlord. RR might have a claim against the letting agency, but it does not absolve RR lack of due diligence. Ignorance of the Law is seldom a defence either. Yes the Tories were corrupt, doesent give Labour a free pass

The tories hypocrisy yes, RR should still be held to account for breaking the law, regardless. Whenever poor people make 'mistakes' in their dealings with the state, we get the book thrown at us.
Bus breaks down and late for Job Centre, Sanctioned. Carers Allowance Scandal another example

Not been forgotten. Starmer promised Labour would be better than the self serving Tories. We have seen 'within the rules' freebies, party donors getting govt contracts to multiple ministers housing issues. Why did people believe him?

Let’s call out the Tories’ behaviour for what it is: corruption | Keir Starmer
Conservative support for Owen Paterson is a disgrace. Politics needs to be cleaned up, says Labour party leader Keir Starmer

Nevertheless, the Landlord is responsible for ensuring housing law is complied with. It is a criminal offence according to Southwarks own guidance. Individuals in this case or the states in general over reliance on outsourcing fails again. www.southwark.gov.uk/housing/priv...
