We had a very lovely time at the LA Webfest! We didn’t win in any of our nominated categories, but the show opened with a special award for performances… and our very own Phil “The Observer” van Hest was one of the recipients.

We had a real hoot at the LA Web Fest this week where we got to meet lots of lovely people in audio drama, and creators from around the world. We will have more to say about it later but right now we are very tired.

It finally happened… I knew the answer to one of these.
A post on Reddit audiodrama sub, reading: I remember listening to a horror story on some podcast, where humans are starving and trying to connect to a human 911, but all they get are automated unhelpful responses. QUESTION Was it The Program? Or Magnus Protocol? Or one of the myriad horror antologies? Please help.

Finally, we're hard at work on a new logo and look for season two, while keeping some common elements. Here's a look at an early draft...

Observable Radio's upcoming second season will be a complete and standalone story, like our recently completed first season - "The Tower."

Trapper and the Observer will certainly make occasional returns to our feed, but we are leaving their story for now...

Some updates regarding our Instagram.
Meta's decision to allow and normalize hate speech is despicable and completely antithetical to our values at Observable Radio. As a result, we will be taking a step back from Instagram. We are not deleting our account at this time, but you can see updates on our show at Bluesky at @observableradio.com or at our Patreon, where we do have a free tier that includes regular show and shop updates.
