I grew up seeing Mt Fuji regularly and it was only right that I settle in another city with a mountain looming over it.

Ended up not seeing him but we did pass some construction workers who asked if we were on our way to church and one of them crossed himself. To be fair, we kind of looked like a bunch of religious icons walking down the street.

I got all dressed up in a formal dress and matching mask. For myself and to bring a little joy to all the volunteers. They were doing mass vaccinations st the convention center with volunteers and the National Guard. And after the requisite 15 minutes, I walked to work.

Oh, no… I have leftover ricotta and lemon curd and lemon buttercream that need to be used up… I guess I’ll just have to make overnight oats with these leftovers so I don’t waste food…
