Anti-vaxxers often rely on the anecdotal fallacy to justify their unscientific claims ("I didn't have the measles shot as a kid and I didn't die", or something similar) and it serves as a reminder of how many people just don't have any concept of how things like science and statistics work.

The arguments favor of the electoral college typically boil down to this: a) the majority of people might vote in a way I disapprove of; b) ergo, instead of majority vote, we should allow a select minority of people to decide who gets to rule the country so that the people I want will get elected.

There are many books that delve into process theology, but if you want to understand it, there is one definitive source from 1976: "Process Theology: An Introductory Exposition" by John Cobb and David R. Griffin. If you want to know what process theology is, that is the place to go.

The Nebraska women's basketball team wore special uniforms celebrating Black History Month. Given that the racist right is actively censoring any mention or celebration of diversity in our culture, I am waiting for the right wing snowflakes to ban all college teams from doing this sort of thing.
