I’m just here to sound off about the New England Revolution and occasionally other teams. Pay me no mind.
Agreed. We haven’t seen this amount of money wasted on an unused DP since…last year. With Vrioni. The key difference here is that Vrioni sucks and Chanca doesn’t.

Heh. Trying to think of what Gil could be referring to.
What are some things that the Revs HAVEN'T changed in the past 2 years?

Drawing a total blank here.

*sigh* those were the days…

I was so confused by the Feingold for Beason sub. They were in a place to be chasing the game, and made a DEFENSIVE sub!?

In conclusion, #PorterOut, #OnalfoOut, and for the love of god, please give Carles a legit scorer to pass to. I would also personally add #BilelloOut and #DitchTheKrafts, but I understand those sentiments are less unanimous among Revs fans and also harder things to make happen.

3(continued). Maybe this is old news to everyone else, but I guess I’d sort of assumed that those of us who actually care about the club (as opposed to casual attendees or those just coming for Sonny) were a small enough minority that no one would hear us complaining. That is far from true.

3. I was really surprised at just how wide-spread the discontent with Porter is. The boos at his name being announced before the game were loud and resounding, and chants of “Fire Porter” were frequent and readily audible.

2(continued). Secondly, the issue with finishers isn’t about finding players who can find the net. It’s about finding players who can get on the end of a cross and turn that into a shot. There were so many crosses that had no one on the end of them to even try to turn the ball goal-wards.

2. Our issues on offense are a little more complicated than not having a competent finisher. Firstly, there were so many moments where players seemed hesitant to shoot. I’m not saying there were tons of brilliant chances on goal that weren’t taken, but sometimes a long shot is better than no shot.

1(continued). In line with urgency being lacking, for much of the game, LAFC wasn’t putting together anything special on defense, and the Revs just decided to not run at them or challenge the defense. Unsurprisingly, a lack of urgency feels like a coaching problem to me.

1. Urgency is really lacking. Whenever we get the ball in our defensive half and have any sort of momentum, we seem to be big fans of going “but what if we just stood around for a moment and killed the momentum?”
